How To Wear A Stripe Pleated Skirt..... 04/19/17

One pattern that I have always been a major fan of is stripes. I find that they compliment any article of clothing extremely well. I also love that there is always a plethora of colors to choose from when it comes to striped pieces. Stripes are definitely bold no matter the form, and adding them to a pleated skirt can either be overdone or just right. This skirt that I picked up while I was in Carlsbad at the outlet mall, is a serious striped and pleated combo winner! I adore the mix of grey, green, and blue colored stripes! Seriously cute for Spring, but will look great when I wear it for the Fall months as well! Because of the bold statement that striped articles of clothing make, I find it is always best to keep the rest of the outfit simple yet chic. I chose to add a simple button up denim shirt to match the blue stripes, but I added an on trend twist- tying it up into a knot at the waist line! Viola! Insta- chic! Still keeping the accessories minimal but stylish, I added one of my favorite bags and my go to grey mules! Linked below, are more of my favorite striped pleated skirts.
