It's that time of year again, and for me, that means pulling out all my sequined and festive pieces! Sequins are one of those items that can make or break an outfit. They have to be done right to really make the outfit a winning one. This top above, in my opinion, is done perfectly! It does not look cheap like a lot of sequin pieces can. I chose to keep this look casual by adding my favorite distressed boyfriend jeans and a similar shade of heels. Although this is the way I chose to style this top for this look, it can easily be elevated by pairing it with a pleated leather mini or midi skirt, some tights and a great black boot or heel. I love that one piece can be so universal, even when it is considered a "dressier" piece because of the sequins. It is time to break away from that norm and learn to see sequins as a piece that can be worn anywhere and all year long!
