This past weekend I took a trip to Palm Springs, making a stop at the Salton Sea, a place I have been dying to go to for a while now! Let me tell you, if you are planning a trip there anytime soon, it is HOT, HOT, HOT! And boy does it smell like fish!!!! So be advised before you make the trip. Because of the hot weather, I decided to put together a cute desert look! I had been searching for a floral cold shoulder top for a while and finally found this super cute and affordable top from Charlotte Russe. I don't often shop here, but when I do I usually find something perfectly on trend and at a great price point. I paired this top with a fun pair of lace up shorts. These shorts fit right in with the desert atmosphere and kept me nice and cool. I of course added my favorite orange panama hat and pair of sunglasses to beat the heat. My tan espadrilles complemented the suede of the lace up shorts and kept the look summery! This is my idea of a perfect outfit to beat the smoldering desert heat!
