Fall Leaves Us..... 11/30/17
We all know that as soon as December 1st hits, it is Christmas EVERYTHING! So to commemorate the last day of November I am sharing with you a wonderful experience I had right before Thanksgiving. I went up to Oak Glen, CA to go apple picking (actually just an excuse for the homemade pies), and to see some authentic fall foliage! Although we arrived pretty late because of the heavy traffic, the colors were unlike any I'd seen before. This area is very woodsy and there are colorful trees and leaves everywhere you look. I was in heaven. It was just so beautiful. I felt like I was in New England somewhere in the olden days- it was that amazing! Have you ever been? If not, its worth the almost 2 hour drive. Next year I want to make a trip of it and stay in Big Bear with the snow, then head down the mountain to Oak Glen to visit the pretty leaves and stuff my face with fresh hot apple pie!
I wanted to be a little festive with my outfit for this trip. So I paired a black and white flannel skirt with a lace crop top and red pumps and a red lip! I love the color combo and I think the outfit was perfect for the fall backdrop. What do you think?
