Bright Plaid.... 06/06/17

If there is one pattern that I love, it is plaid! The versatility of the pattern makes it an easy one to wear all year long. The top above is a perfect example of this. This one, from Loft ( currently my favorite store as you can see from previous posts), is a bright and colorful plaid that can be worn in warmer months, the way it is styled above. Cooler fall and winter months simply require swapping skirt and sandals for dark jeans and boots! Easy Peasy! This look I wore hanging around downtown Palm Springs. It was incredibly hot so an off the shoulder top and denim mini skirt was exactly what the weather called for. Is anyone else as happy as I am that denim mini skirts are back in action?? I used to love to wear these and now I get to again! Yippie! Fashion is a never ending cycle of repetition. Great for retailers, not so great for me or my wallet but oh well. C'est la vie!
I know I say it time and time again, but you seriously need to check out Loft.com if you haven't. They have the best stuff. Always bright and brilliantly executed. Plus there is always a great sale going on in stores and online!
P.S- These are my new favorite shoes. Mules have become my go to shoe for all seasons. They are so easy to wear but always look trendy and elevated. I currently have my eyes on two new pairs. Hmm I might have a slight problem. I will be posting something soon showcasing all of my mules for you guys to see. It's intense.
