Pink Lady in the Mountains.... 12/21/17
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Happy holidays to you all! We are in the home stretch of Christmas. Only 4 days to go! This year has come so fast and I cannot believe that it will soon be over. The days are gone in a flash and I have so much that I want to do. But such is life, I guess. How do you all feel about another year come and gone?
Anyways… back to being merry and bright for X-mas! Today marks the official first day of winter so what more appropriate then this post! Big Bear, berets, and pinecone covered cabins could not scream winter any better if I do say so myself! The vibe of Big Bear is always so chill (no pun intended). I really enjoyed driving up and hanging around. OMG though, it was freezing. This SoCal girl is not used to anything less than like 50 degrees so 30 and below you can imagine that I was freezing my tits off!
I love the pink and brown combo of this outfit. Even though pink is loud and bright I feel like the camel and nude colors really brought it down to a neutral. Berets are so popular right now that I had to get one. Of course mine had to be fancy and in the color pink. I had a bright green one that I bought in high school and used to wear around thinking I was cool until my friend borrowed it and never returned it- (you know who you are). Tee hee. So basically what I am trying to say is I was cool before berets were cool. YES!
I’m glad I got to have fun in a wintery escape this holiday season. Do you have any plans or places that you are going to ring the New Year, Christmas, or winter in? I’d love to know!
